Integration is the cohesion and synergy between roles and departments, with different activities, that need each other during the process to create value.
Child refers to coordination to the process of aligning the activities of people or their units to achieve a state of integration.
Traditionally integration is either achieved via the manager or by instilling formal procedures and rules. A newer form of achieving integration is via teams.
